Slab Grinders

The affordable, compact SB-24 is the most popular Rotochopper for grinding slabs in line with the sawmill. Equipped with up to 250 HP, this machine will eliminate the mess of handling slabs and produce a perfect product day in day out from a wide variety of species. Rotochopper grinders, diesel and electric, are in use in a variety of food waste processing applications. Electric models are especially popular because food waste processing is often a high demand 24/7 project. The large infeed conveyor and electronic controls permit easy constant feeding. Whole pallets of unopened beer, soda, canned goods, cereals, paper products, candies, baked goods and produce can be loaded into the infeed conveyor. Particle size control is made quick and easy by changing screens. Rotochoppers are installed in complete MRF systems with drum dryers, overhead magnets, eddie current separators and picking lines. We can customize the machine and the system to process your material into the value added product you want to produce.
