Rotochopper “Perfect In One Pass” grinding technology offers a highly efficient means of converting forestry slash to finished biomass fuel products. The Rotochopper MC-266 FP horizontal grinder is scaled to the needs of forestry operations, offering an industry-leading combination of portability and efficiency.  For operations needing higher capacity, the Rotochopper B-66 features the most aggressive infeed system on the market, capable of smoothly feeding whole trees and logs. The MC-266 FP and B66 are each available in portable or track-mounted configurations.

Exclusive features

Our unique biomass rotor provides lower wear costs and less downtime than chipper knives, while offering better processing efficiency than typical grinding rotors. More versatile than drum or disk chippers, the MC-266 and B-66 will efficiently process pliable, tangled branches and solid trunks, as well as pre-ground or chipped wood.  From freshly harvested green slash to seasoned timber and beetle kill, our horizontal grinders will deliver consistent particle sizes to meet demanding fuel specifications.

When equipped with an optional 90-degree side loading conveyor, the MC-266 FP and B-66 can fill open top trailers parked parallel to the grinder.
