Rotochopper grinders offer the consistent uptime and aggressive feed rates needed to efficiently process municipal yard waste for use as compost or other finished products. We manufacture diesel and electric models from 275 to 765 HP, in portable, track, and stationary configurations to suit the needs of operations of any size. Our compact, highly portable MP-2 is scaled to the needs of small municipal waste sites. Our MC-266 and B-66 provide higher capacity for larger compost yards.
Our aggressive infeed design efficiently forces tangled branches into the grinding chamber for consistent throughput. Designed to prevent un-ground particles from falling directly onto the collection conveyor and ending up in the finished product pile, our unique infeed transition system ensures complete grinding and thorough composting. Our patented slab ramp allows operators to adjust the angle and speed at which material enters the grinding chamber to prevent plugging with pliable limbs. Each of our grinders allows fast tooth and screen access from the ground level, minimizing downtime.
Our direct grinding chamber injection system can be used to apply compost starters as the material is being ground. Any of our horizontal grinders can be equipped with this patented system. It’s standard on our MP-2. When equipped with an optional side loading discharge conveyor, our MC-266 or B66 can deposit ground material into parallel windrows. Our patented StopWatch grinder monitor and protection system can help reduce downtime and damage caused by tramp steel.
Our mobile bagging systems provide a convenient solution for bagging compost. Highly compact and portable, our mobile baggers can be operated in cramped compost yards, right next to windrows, minimizing handling costs. These bagging systems are completely self-contained and can be set up in minutes for on-site bagging.
