Easy on, easy off

The B-66 is disconnected and re-coupled to the dolly entirely by the power supplied by the main hydraulic system. During highway transport, the B-66 is secured to the dolly by four hydraulically actuated locking pins. After these pins are retracted, the operator simply drives the B-66 off the dolly by engaging the crawler tracks with a wireless remote.

To re-couple the B-66 to the dolly, the operator drives the B-66 back into position above the dolly with the crawler tracks. Beveled guide rails allow for easy re-alignment as the B-66 moves into place. The tapered locking pins correct minor misalignment as they extend outward to secure the dolly.

The dolly vs a trailer

• Less downtime to switch from tracks to transport than with a trailer
• Lower capital investment than a new trailer
• Better maneuverability than a trailer. Once the B-66 is disconnected, the dolly can be towed with the truck using a removable hitch, with much better turning radius and ground clearance than a trailer.

Transport regulations

Available in tri- or quad-axle configurations, the dolly can be configured according to transport regulations around the world. The track-mounted B-66 is also available without a dolly for transport on a lowbed trailer.
