The first large-scale logging equipment demo held in Georgia in 10 years, Timber & Biomass Expo Southeast will showcase the latest forestry equipment with in-the-woods demos.

* The demo location is approximately 15 miles east of Valdosta and 4 miles south of the intersection of US highway 84 and Georgia highway 135.

Complete harvesting & grinding solutions

For this exclusive forestry equipment demo, we're joining forces with Cutting Systems, Inc. (CSI) and Knight Forestry, Inc. to demonstrate a complete in-the-woods system for harvesting, delimbing, debarking, and grinding green round wood down to a fine texture end material ready for drying. CSI will supply an FDT 6000 delimber / debarker. Knight Forestry, Inc. will provide a TimberPro 735 Track Fellerbuncher and a Barko 495 Epic knuckleboom loader.

During the demo, trees will be harvested with the TimberPro 735 Track Fellerbuncher and skidded to the grinding area, where they will be delimbed and debarked with the CSI FDT 6000 to achieve a suitable ash content for fuel pellets. The Barko loader will then feed the debarked stems into a B-66 that features our unique biomass rotor. This harvesting and grinding demo will showcase a single-pass system for producing a short fiber end material.
