Our unique bale pre-processing system (patent pending) separates whole bales into an even flow of loose material to the grinding chamber, maximizing grinding efficiency. This exclusive system will actually unroll dense whole round bales, rather than simply tearing them apart unevenly. It also separates whole square bales into sections for smooth, steady processing.

This bale pre-processing is fully integrated into the electronic control system. It automatically adjusts its operating parameters based on bale consistency, matching its rotation to bale density and other properties. Its operating functions can be quickly adjusted through the comprehensive control system to maximize efficiency for different bale types.

Our bale pre-processing system is available for electric and diesel grinders up to 765 horsepower. A Rotochopper grinder with this system offers a turnkey bale processing solution for biomass fuels, erosion control, animal bedding, and animal feed.
