The StopWatch Monitor and Control system helps operators reduce downtime and maintenance costs from excessive rotor vibration and impacts with un-grindable objects.

Fully integrated into the comprehensive electronic control system, the StopWatch monitors and records rotor vibration. If the system detects excessive vibration, it instantly stops and reverses the infeed conveyor, in order to reduce damage to the rotor, teeth, screen, bearings, and other critical components. Excessive vibration levels may indicate impacts with steel, rotor imbalance caused by uneven wear, or rotor tooth damage. By monitoring vibration, the StopWatch is able to reduce or even prevent damage.
