Systems Administrator

Overall Objective

As an integral part of Information Technology team, the Systems Administrator will provide technology leadership in the digital transformation at a growing company. In preparation for an upcoming system implementation, this person will be responsible for understanding key business processes and ensuring the information systems of the company efficiently and effectively align and support the business.The role will collaborate with an expert partner to implement NetSuite in 2021.

After the implementation, this person will manage the deployment of any new NetSuite functionality and lead support and enhancement activities related to NetSuite and other integrated 3rd party applications.

Key Responsibilities

All duties to be performed according to the established standard and in compliance with all company policies and procedures while maintaining regular, prompt attendance and availability for overtime as needed:

NetSuite Administration

  • Act as primary liaison and resident expert on NetSuite related matters such as design, architecture, configuration, functionality, maintenance, troubleshooting, controls and performance of the applications and technology.
  • Drive NetSuite adoption efforts through improvements to user-interface, user training and sharing best practices to enhance overall user experience.
  • Keep up to date on NetSuite native functionality and changes to NetSuite modules as well as third party applications through the NetSuite partner ecosystem.
  • Attending conferences/seminars and keeping up to date with the NetSuite roadmap.
  • Provide regular updates on NetSuite releases and communicate with users about plans, usage and support of system.
  • Lead testing for all changes and implementations including software validation plans and reports.
  • Partner with user departments and IT during all phases of projects to accurately document, test and implement required system features.
  • Assist with the development of policies and procedures related to NetSuite systems controls and operations, data security and compliance, electronic storage and organization strategy and maintenance.
  • Create training documentation and process diagrams for existing and new business processes.
  • Plan for key integration among critical systems including the NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing module, Salesforce, Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop product and platform roadmaps, ensuring strategic alignment of systems in-place and future systems.
    Enhancement Management
  • Manage the NetSuite enhancement management process and provide leadership to the enhancement management team.
  • Design, develop and test enhancements consistent with internal business process requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to translate business requirements into technical specifications consistent with enterprise architecture and best practices.
  • Periodically review and optimize NetSuite modules and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Application Support

  • Provide enterprise wide support for NetSuite.
  • Assist as needed in the administration and/or troubleshooting of existing software systems, both off-the-shelf and in-house developed software.
  • Lead data migration and integration activities from legacy systems as appropriate (including Solid Works, legacy CRM system, and legacy Access Database).

Qualifications

OVERALL OBJECTIVE

The Janitor is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day upkeep and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess and maintain maintenance needs for buildings and grounds. Arrange scheduling, finding resources for contract services and supplies to complete the repair.
  • Cleaning; including but not limited to sweeping floors, washing windows, cleaning breakrooms, bathrooms, refrigerators.

  • Manage and maintain a job chart, documenting the work and task schedule and completion.

The Welder | Fabricator is responsible for fitting and welding steel parts using a MIG welding process. They are responsible for assembling parts and may be asked to perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his or her supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
  • MIG weld steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings.
  • Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a specification.

  • Follow, create and help maintain welding specifications.
  • Place and remove steel from steel racks and shelving.

The Finisher is responsible for ensuring final assembly on RotoChopper products/machines. They are responsible for assembling parts and may be asked to perform other miscellaneous tasks to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans or drawings to determine specific requirements.

  • Ensure hydraulic systems are installed correctly, including the settings of relief pressures.

  • Ensure the correct belt tension and aligning of belt sheave. 
  • Ensure the correct settings of scraper blade. 
  • Assemble and install reversible fan. 
  • Ensure the correct settings of systems, including, but not limited to brakes, color system and sinking of flow meter. 
  • Ensure Customer Care Box is prepped, bolts are tightened, and machine is in proper working order. 
  • Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.  
  • Assemble items as instructed. Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.  
  • Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.  
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.  
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards  
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency  
  • Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually (up to 50 pounds), or using an overhead crane/hoist.

The Machine Operator is responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines at Rotochopper.
