Machine Operator - Press Brake

Overall Objective

The Machine Operator is responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines at Rotochopper. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and adjusting, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications. Set up and operation of a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up machines based on the job at hand or using procedure specifications.
  • Preform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
  • Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards. Follow, create and help maintain production expectations.
  • Assemble items within production process.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the task.
  • Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.

Factory Product Specialist

Overall Objective

The Factory Product Specialist is responsible for all areas of customer support and service to Rotochopper customers across the globe.  The Factory Product Specialist is well versed and trained in the operation, diagnostics and repair of Rotochopper products. The Factory Product Specialist is knowledgeable in heavy equipment operation, troubleshooting hydraulic and mechanical systems, and has a working knowledge of diesel engines.  The Factory Product Specialist will manage customer relationships and handle day to day customer service calls, as well and customer training. The Factory Product Specialist offices at the St. Martin production facility, travels as needed and supports the service function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain customer expectations through relationship building and open communication.
  • Ensure customers communication is a top priority by being available, answering questions and building report.
  • Provide customer support and education, working with users to identify needs, determine sources of problems, or to provide information on product use.
  • Troubleshoot and test electrical unites, analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.
  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling electronic units.

  • Troubleshoot issues and concerns, partnering with other departments and leadership as necessary.

Overall Objective
The Painter is responsible for the prepping, mixing and painting of Rotochopper products. The position maintains the cleanliness and safety aspects of the paint booth and equipment; both tools and personal protective equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up products and parts for prepping and painting.
  • Mix paints and primers to specifications/as directed.
  • Maintain required documentation of materials and waste per regulations; company, state and federal.
