St. Martin, Minnesota – The Big House Brawl stop of the TORC the Off-Road Championship series in Crandon, Wisconsin was very successful for Rotochopper, Ponsse, and Kleiman Racing. Crandon International Off-Road Raceway was full of eager fans enjoying the weather and watching some of the best off-road drivers battle for a spot on the podium and championship points.
The Ponnse Booth had a great spot near the pits at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway. Race fans stopped by the thirty-foot Ponsse trailer to see the 8 wheel Ponsse ERGO, meet legendary Siberian logger Sean Vann, purchase Ponnse and Rotochopper apparel, and meet Kleiman Racing. Rotochopper and Ponsse officials were on hand to personally talk to fans about Rotochopper grinding equipment, and why Ponsse is a Logger’s Best Friend®.
Kleiman Off-Road Racing, proudly sponsored by Ponsse and Rotochopper, had a another exciting weekend racing. They experienced some problems during the Saturday Pro-Lite Final. Cody Klieman #48 experienced some trouble when he got involved with another racer and the wall. The back tire of his truck got ripped off when he flipped due to bumping and grinding that comes with off-road racing. The team would then spend the rest of Saturday night welding and repairing #48.
“Off-road racing is all about up-time,” said Mark Kleiman owner of Kleiman Off-Road Racing “If something goes wrong, you have to bounce back as quickly as possible. As loggers and TORC series drivers, we understand the importance of consistent uptime. That’s why we are pleased to have Ponsse and Rotochopper sponsoring our trucks. Both companies built their business models around customer success by staying focused on one industry sector and offering exceptional customer service.”
Although Kleiman racing had a series of bad luck at the Big House Brawl, Mark, Kyle, and Cody are looking forward to another great weekend of racing at Throwdown in the U.P. Part 2 in Bark River, MI on July 19 & 20th.
