As a father of three boys, it is not hard to sympathize with families dealing with the hardship of a child battling cancer. The emotional and financial impact is immeasurable and indescribable. Because we are passionate about giving back to communities and rallying to support causes that hit close to home, we recently started the “Kidz @ Heart” Program.
When we sell and commission a Rotochopper machine, we proudly make a donation on our customer’s behalf to a local Oncology, Child Cancer Center, or family life center in their community. In so doing, we have had the privilege of meeting and donating to groups like ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation in Virginia, Johns Hopkins Oncology in Maryland, Charleston Area Medical Center in West Virginia, and Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
In the short time since we launched “Kidz @ Heart,” this program has given us immediate and lasting returns on our commitment to helping children battling cancer. We look forward to continuing and expanding on this opportunity to make a positive impact within the region we serve as Rotochopper representatives.
