Not all logs will be the right shape or size to be processed by your Rotochopper grinder, but by using a hands-free log splitter by U.S. Pride Products you can easily break down hard to grind logs, stumps and similar feedstock. The log splitters are available in various sizes and are made in the U.S.A. with top of the line American made parts.

HF-800 Two Speed
The HF-800 two speed hands free log splitter is the perfect fit for customers that want the ability to utilize the equipment on both a skid steer or wheel loader and then put it on an excavator for in yard operations. When used with a skid steer the HF-800 two speed will generate 10,000 ft. lbs. torque and 61 RPMS at 30 GPM. On an excavator the HF-800 two speed set at 5,500 psi will generate 15,400 ft. lbs. torque and 117 RPMS at 50 GPM. Comes complete with splitting cone hoses and an excavator bracket.

Split logs up to 20 feet long and over 5 feet in diameter with the HF-800 hands free log splitter. The HF-800 can be mounted on a high flow skid steer, wheel loader and comes standard with excavator bracket for any excavator. The larger tool steel cone, has 15,000 ft lbs. of torque and is double thread for fast feed. Comes complete with splitting cone hoses and an excavator bracket.

The HF-300 hands free log splitter has a large log splitting cone with a flame hardened tool steel replacement tip with a 2″ shaft. Split logs up to 12′ long on using either a skid steer or mini excavator. The hinged frame offers the ability to run a post hole auger or stump shaver. Comes complete with splitting cone, hoses and a quick attach bracket made to fit your skid steer.
