Rotochopper showcased several equipment models at the USCC COMPOST2022 event last week in Austin, Texas.
Rotochopper is a long-time member of the US Composting Council organization and values the work they do throughout the industry in education, development, and advocacy. The partnership with USCC is also evident through Rotochopper’s continued commitment and yearly presence at the annual conference and Demo Day events as a Ruby Sponsor. This year Rotochopper exhibited at the conference in the Austin Convention Center, where employees and sales representatives connected with current customers and attendees who wanted to learn more about the equipment Rotochopper offers and the benefits of working with their team. The tradeshow also provides a great place to network with industry leaders and contacts.
The US Composting Council concludes the conference with a day devoted to equipment demonstrations and displays. This year the demo day event was held at Texas Disposal Systems, just outside of Austin. The day began with breakfast and a kickoff event, followed by the start of live demonstrations. The first group to demo was the horizontal grinders and shredders. Rotochopper demoed their FP-66 horizontal grinder equipped with a 755hp engine, replaceable mount rotor, and RotoLink®, the FP-66 made quick work of the sorted C&D feedstock.
Next, attendees gathered to watch the screening equipment demos where Rotochopper debuted the new MT175 Trommel Screen. Attendees were impressed with its screening capabilities and production rates while still maintaining a compact footprint. The 365R Tracked Radial Stacking Conveyor was also on display at the event, for attendees to view. Following a Texas BBQ lunch, attendees headed out for another round of demos during the afternoon.
“The USCC event continues to be an event that we look forward to attending year after year”, shared Nicole Klein, Marketing Manager for Rotochopper. “This event brings together a wide range of individuals from across the industry and the demo day is always well organized and executed and allows attendees to see a wide variety of equipment during the course of a single day.”
